My email address changed and the old one is no longer accessible, I cannot access the group. I have updated my email address but the old one is still listed on the list of groups page.

if you can still log into yahoo, you can change the address your group uses
- log into your groups (http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups)
- click on ‘My Email Preferences’ (http://groups.yahoo.com/myprefs).
- here you can add e-mail addresses – you will need access to the new email address to verify it (you will receive an email from Yahoo asking you to do so)
- you can then change which e-mail address groups mail is sent to under the tab ‘Edit My Groups’, along with the frequency you receive them

make sure you followed step 2
go to this link- click add email address on top left- follow steps and confirm address.
then go to this link click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there’s more than one) under the column Email Address click the arrow for the drop down box and select new address- click save changes
