How do I stop receiving unwanted sexually explicit email offers?

December 24th, 2009 admin Leave a comment Go to comments

I don’t know how I got added to some perverse list but beginning approximately 4 months ago I began receiving disgustingly sexual email offers. These messages flood my mailbox daily and are quite offensive. Has anybody else had this problem? And if so, how did you make it stop??? Thanks for your help!

Yes, i had to change my email account. with a lot of the crap thats out there, sometimes they have an option at the bottom of the email to unsubscribe but with these recent ones there is nothing to help me so i had to change my email and im still not too happy about it. Good Luck

You can’t, without changing your e-mail address (and the spammers will find it too eventually).

You could also try using gmail, the spam filter is excellent. It almost never makes a mistake in my experience.

And by the way… the “unsubscribe” function should really be called “oh you actually read your spam?? click here (and we’ll sell your address to all our spammer friends too)”

Yes and I **** it. I get them mostly through Yahoo mail. I just mark them as spam, but they still keep coming. I’m a woman and I’ve gotten emails about viagra oif all things rofl. Also certain other things that can’t be mentioned here. They have been tapering off after marking them as spam but it took awhile. I, too, wondered how I was getting them.

Stop opening them for one thing, when you do you just confirm to the sender your email is alive and working. Plus you get viruses just by opening the crap. Learn where the delete key is and use it.
