How do i obtain a “Master list” of member email addresses?

December 20th, 2009 admin Leave a comment Go to comments

I have been part of a group for over four years and the group has hit a serious slump. I’d like to send out a bulk query to the member list to see if anyone is still active in the subject matter outside (of the group) and try to rekindle some interest in the group. The group has over 700 members with ~ 100 bouncing. I really don’t want to try to click on one email at a time… *grin* Please be specific in your answer as i suspect the solution will include some action by the group owner and i suspect he is not the most technically adept person… i will need to describe the process to him so please be concise..
Thanks! Rob
Thnx for the answers! I assume “Download” is an option that the owner sees? I do not see that option. Thnx x2.

Just go into the Members list and click Download. It will give you a list of all of the email addresses, one per line.

skip the members who are bouncing- they probably wont get the e-mail- also pay attention to how many you can e-mail at once or you’re e-mail provider will shut you down for suspected spamming
